FEEL LIKE I BELONG!
Having been in many cigar stores over the course of my life it's refreshing to stop in a place where you are greeted and made to feel at home even if it's your first time in. With the regulars setting around smoking and talking one could easily feel like an "outsider"...but not here! Regulars strike up a conversation and after awhile you realize you've spent an hour talking and smoking a good cigar! Great selection of cigars in their walk-in humidor as well as wines. Knowledgeable staff is always good too.

MOVED TO OLD TOWN SAN CLEMENTE!
As of 3/18/17 this place has apparently moved so I'd suggest calling first as the space on PCH is closed. There's a sign on the door but I didn't have time to stop. Someone told me they stopped there today and they've moved (are moving?) to somewhere in San Clemente. The cigar shop moved to 106 Avenida Miramar. X street El Camino Real and Avenida Miramar. They changed the name to Casa Carreras Cigars Wine and Microbrew. Great location with a covered patio. I recommend checking out the new place.
VERY HELPFULL!
Excellent shop and resource for cigars. I was in Dana Point visiting my family and needed a few cigars for my dad for Christmas. Here they were VERY helpful and were able to select the perfect cigars in my price range. Thank you!
NOW MY PLACE TO GO!
An excellent shop. I discovered them a few month ago and it's now my go to place for great wines and Cigars. Brian is so knowledgeable and helpful- makes each shopping experience a success.

I WILL BUY MY CIGARS NO WHERE ELSE!
I was in the area to visit my son at Camp Pendleton and the shop was conveniently close to the Basilone Gate entrance to the base. Dana Point is just a few miles up the road, and the shop is conveniently located on the Pacific Coast Highway. The humidor at DPC&W is impressive. A very nice variety of cigars I had not seen before, along with many old favorites. My son and I bought a couple of cigars that were new to us, and smoked them in the lounge area set up outside. The weather was perfect. The employee who helped us (Rob, I think? My apologies if I have mis-remembered your name), was very helpful, a pleasure to speak with, and his hospitality alone was enough reason to keep going back. But, the humidor was being expanded so there will be even more reason to keep going back. I will be in that area often over the next few years and when I am, I will buy my cigars no where else.

BEST CIGAR AND WINE STORE I'VE EVER BEEN IN!
This is one of the best cigar and wine stores I've ever been in. The knowledge of the staff is top notch, the selection and diversity of the smokes available is amazing. Good selection and price on Wine and a cool atmosphere. I will make this place a must stop every time I am in the area.

GOOD LOCAL SHOP!
Good local shop with knowledgeable staff. Wine selection seems to grow every time i'm in but it is on the expensive end. Great humidor with a great selection.
They also have a small sitting area on the sidewalk where you can hang out and enjoy your cigar.
I WILL BE BACK!!!
This is a very cool place, tons of wine and amazing selection of cigars, nice back room with comfy couches and large TV that needs some love , only other thing id like to see is a better selection of sweet wines and maybe some snacks. I will be back!!!

VERY IMPRESSIVE!
What an amazing find to have this cigar shop so close to our house. Very impressive walk in humidor with 2 levels and several alcoves with more varieties and quantity of cigars then I have ever seen in one place. Their cigars are very fresh and the service from staff is great.

GREAT EXPERIENCE!
I don't smoke cigars, but we came here to get a gift for someone who does, and we had a great experience. The young man working was very knowledgeable and helpful. He walked us around the humidor and had great recommendations, then let us wander on our own. Great customer service, great overall experience!
LARGEST IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA!
Strolling by with the fam after eating lunch at Stacks. Was actually looking for the kite store. I paused in front of DPCW and Rob invited me in, I was certainly intrigued. The fam moved on and I went in. Rob guided me to the humidor which was the absolute biggest humidor I have ever seen. Turns out its the the largest in Southern California and right in my backyard!!
I just wandered around aimlessly looking at row after row of cigars, all shapes and sizes. Clearly overwhelmed, the ever patient Rob let me get my bearings and I asked him how to pick a cigar. He asked me some pretty simple questions and then made some suggestions. I got a quick intro into the making of cigars and how the different sizes and shapes affect the taste of the cigar. Usually, I let friends and family pick the cigars and I just smoke them, but now I feel like I know just enough to be dangerous. Thanks Rob.
I did not take in much of the wine store, but it looked like wide range of selection. Next time I go back, it will be to buy a bottle of wine and cigar to enjoy while relaxing outside or in the lounge.

MASSIVE SELECTION!
Largest humidor with massive selection - you will not find a better selection of cigars in this area... And having traveled extensively in the US and abroad I would say these guys rival most stores I have been in for on-hand selection. Most staff are super knowledgeable, all are helpful - and while they are a little pricey, they are not the most expensive around. Great outdoor smoking area with friendly crew. Now - wine selection is also incredible with a huge selection of high end wines. Highly suggest you stop in if looking for a local shop with a great bottled wine selection for that special occasion.
